Merging with Fast motion edit
It seems pretty straight forward. Fast motion isn't really a term that's ever used. It's just the opposite of slow motion. A smild form of time-lapse. That being said I'll just add the extra info from fast motion as a section. Plowboylifestyle 21:03, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

"The first major usage of time-lapse in a feature film" edit
"was Koyaanisqatsi (1983)", according to this article, although it previously praised Disney's 1956 Secrets Of Life. My own first exposure was in The Secret Life of Plants, in 1979, and i know i wasn't the only one whose first time it was to see plants growing (in an accelerated fashion), as i went with a friend, and also heard the exclamations of other spectators in the theater.

Software edit
I was hoping to find some software that would be able to create a time-lapse movie from photographs taken with a hand-held camera. I think it would be a difficult task, but not impossible. Does such software exist? And, more relevant to Wikipedia, could someone knowledgeable create a section on time-lapse software? Sergivs-en (talk) 23:26, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Time-lapse → Time-lapse photography – Titles should be noun phrases, not adjective phrases; the modifier time-lapse also lacks precision, as would the noun phrase time lapse, given what the article is about. Dicklyon (talk) 00:09, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
