This article links to Whittle, however there is no article for the gameshow, it is merely a redirect for the activity whittling. It would be good if someone could create that article, there is a good source of information here, which is all acurate: http://www.ukgameshows.com/index.php/Whittle
Removed the 'cite reference' for the jokes
editI've removed these for several reasons: They look terrible, the jokes are so inconsequential that it really doesn't matter the source, so much as they are jokes from his sets. Wikipedia needs to cite its references, but it does not need to ruin every article's look and professional feel by covering it with little 'cite reference' markers after every sentence. ny156uk 22:14, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Jokes
editWhile it pains me to suggest this as Tim's jokes are hilarious, this is supposed to be a biographical article about Tim Vine, not a collection of his works. At best, the list of jokes is off-topic, and at worst it could be a copyright violation and therefore unlawful. Can anyone come up with a compelling reason for why the section should stay? (I'd love it to, honestly, but I can't think of any justification for it). And if it does stay, how do we keep it down to a reasonable length? People seem to be adding material to it every week! - I looks like most of that list came directly from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eshR-WpdYDM - surely it would be better to link there than list the jokes. 146.87.6.75 (talk) 17:38, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Fluke on Channel 4?
edit"Vine has also presented the game show Fluke on Channel 4"
I don't want to edit this because I may be wrong, but I'm almost certain that Fluke was on Channel 5, not Channel 4. I remember because Fluke was one of the first shows to come out on Channel 5 when it came out on the air. Can anyone back me up on this? Haddock420 (talk) 03:24, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Pretend PopStar?
editThis looks suspicious to me. When you hit the URL and click a track the URL is karlhampson.f2s.com which doesn't look real to me. I've removed the working under Music relating to this link - can someone check and put it back if I'm wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.233.195.135 (talk) 23:17, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
rewrite needed
editthe following sentence makes no sens, but I'm not sure what it is supposed to say
"Vine and a security guard from his office job in Croydon started doing open mic nights as a hobby. During 1991, Tim Vine regularly honed his routine at the Comedy Café in London, adding other clubs throughout 1992" 150.143.238.35 (talk) 05:47, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- It makes sense to me. WaggersTALK 09:54, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
