Role in "Lie to me" edit

Hi, English is not my usual language, so i'll let someone else add the information in proper English. Tiffany Espensen also played the role of "Isabella" in episode 2x10 from the serie "Lie to me". The English title may be "Brand new day", the French title is "La bombe humaine (Human bomb)". Sorry to bother, I just didn't know how to add this properly. Please check it out. Spider-Man: Homecoming - disruptive editing with linking role edit

Regarding Espensen's role of Cindy in that film, please do not link to Silk (comics). There have been repeated edits, mainly by IP editors, to do this and there is no connection whatsoever to the character of Silk. My guidance is from reverts months ago [1][2][3], and I'll ping IJBall (whose reverts I cited) for any further explanation, or if other editors want to fill me in on this, it would be appreciated. To reiterate, there is nothing in the film(s) themselves that explicitly (or even implicitly) ties the film and the comics characters together. So I decided to look into this, and a quick Google showed that Espensen herself confirmed on Twitter[1] and Instagram[2] a very long time ago that she was playing Cindy Moon, accepting thanks on the portrayal, following the character creators at the time, and also sharing fanart of herself as the character. There were also a lot of reports from WP:RELIABLESOURCES like Variety, Collider, IGN, Digital Spy, CBR, Empire Online, BBC, Looper, The Hollywood Reporter, and Deadline Hollywood that her character was Cindy Moon.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14] 89.19.88.149 (talk) 15:50, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't matter – there is no in-universe confirmation of any link between the film character and the comics character. What the producers "intended" to do is not relevant. What Espensen herself believes or claims is definitely not relevant. What others speculated about the character is not relevant. So the 2022 cinema and home media-released director's cut of 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home includes unused/archive footage of Spider-Man: Homecoming for its post-credits scene, featuring Tiffany Espensen again as Cindy. So can we add a note to filmography about this, on it being uncredited, cameo role, via unused/archive footage in post-credits of extended cut? No, we absolutely can't – archival footage should not be added to Filmographies (other articles get this wrong). It shouldn't even be mentioned in the article itself unless it gets significant secondary source coverage. --IJBall (contribstalk) 17:29, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
