Another tune that was lifted elsewhere and used in the musical is Speed Test which sources to "Ruddigore or The Witche's Curse" music by Sir Arthur Sullivan from the Gilbert and Sullivan duo dating to 1887. The specific tune is "My eyes are fully open to my awful situation" (Robin, Despard, and Margaret) from Act II No. 24.

My son has been a fan of this movie since, at a young age, he noticed it starred "Mary Poppins." We were surprised to learn from this Wikipedia entry that Audrey Hepburn is a "star" and narrator of the movie (voice only).
The Wikipedia entry for Audrey Hepburn doesn't mention this "starring role" or narration. Ditto for IMDb entries for Audrey Hepburn and Thoroughly Modern Millie. A quick internet search didn't turn up any corroboration.
Thank you for pointing that out. I have removed mention of Hepburn as there is no narrator in the film and Millie never talks with her mother in the film. - kosboot (talk) 19:23, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
