I added the second part of the article regarding the role of Torismond in the Battle of Chalons. My source is again the 35th chapter of Gibbon's Rome. Gibbon (and most probably Jordanes) credits Torismond in being the commander who led the decisive charge and broke both the Ostrogoths and the Huns. This fact is ommited by the (otherwise incredible) original Battle of Chalons article. In fact, the Battle of Chalons article is so incredibly detailed that i have to assume the ommission was done deliberately. Is Torismond's winning maneuver an outdated theory? Is it described in the Getica, and if it is, do we have proof that it is overrated?Vagu (talk) 18:12, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
