how are pressure changes brough about in the thoracic cavity?
Pectus disorders? edit
Not sure how to add it, but what about pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum being added to the page?

These are deformities of the thoracic wall. I would suggest a "See also" section (related to) of either this article or the thoracic wall article. --188.228.106.119 (talk) 14:26, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
Wording for diagram edit
The wording for the diagram/picture reads:
- "Thoracic cavity seen from left. Lungs, among others removed."
The bit about "Lungs, among others..." is vague and even misleading and needs rewording. 194.176.105.153 (talk) 07:45, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
Eventual usage of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatomical_plane would be recommended.
The picture displays the Mediastinum on sagittal plane, Thoracic diaphragm at the bottom, the heart (Cor), behind Sternum and Costae (to the left on the picture (This is the Anterior.)) and to the right (Posterior) you have the Thoracic vertebrae.
I will change the description, you are welcome to revert it again.
