- That's the way it should be. Thomson is a proper noun, so it must be written with a capital letter, however, the word gazelle should be written in lower case; it isn't a proper noun - there are many gazelles out there.--71.190.88.161 (talk) 02:00, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

The gazelle of thomson is one of smaller gazelles, adults she can run very fast up to 37 to 43 mph (60 to 70 km/h) generally, maximum 47 mph (76 km/h) for the most male fastest, and it makes jumps from 1 meter to 1.50 meters high (3,5 to 4,5 feet) and up to 2 meters (6,5 feet) max at most sometimes and 5 for 6 meters (17 to 20 feet) lenght. I am an expert and a fan of the animals of quite sorts, but in particular the gazelles and the antelopes. --Angel310 (talk) 14:02, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Second fastest animal on earth edit
The above statement in the opening paragraph seems to contradict the information in the article Fastest animals, which specifically states the Tommy is build for endurance over speed. I see it is sourced but found nothing in the source apart from a speed (60 mph) which is different from that stated in the opening paragraph. Which is correct?
