Seal Attack edit

He was attacked and nearly dragged into the Arctic Sea and killed by a Leopeard Seal according to the wiki page for that entry. If so I think that's noteworthy enough to be included on his page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.109.157.223 (talk) 11:53, 24 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Start of WW2 edit

I don't really think it's accurate to say 'when Japan entered World War II in 1941'. Japan invaded China in 1937 , and a chinese historian would therefore say WWII starts then. The US entered WWII in 1941 as a result of Japanese action and the following day Britain declares war on Japan . I think this could be better worded. The point is that Japan's activity in the conflagration starts much earlier it's only the nature of the relationship between Britain and Japan that changed in '41. Suggest changing it to 'In 1941 Britain declared war on Japan and...' Hmcst1 (talk) 14:39, 11 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
