Orphaned references in Thomas Law (1756–1834) edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Thomas Law (1756–1834)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "AH":

  • From Hope Park: Arlis Herring (9 February 2008). "Elizabeth Parke Custis". Arlis Herring. Retrieved 2008-02-28. {{cite web}}: External link in |publisher= (help)
  • From Elizabeth Parke Custis Law: Arlis Herring (9 Feb 2008). "Elizabeth Parke Custis". Arlis Herring. Retrieved 2008-02-28. {{cite web}}: External link in |publisher= (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:39, 21 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

more work needed edit

I worked on this yesterday and planned further work on it today, but the Dickey volume was not available. I don't know when I can get back to this. The material on his final thirty years needs considerable work, probably including review of the published opinions in the court cases. Since divorce was rare in the era, Law's eccentricities, or an affair, may have led to it.Jweaver28 (talk) 21:51, 26 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
