Not an Iraqi-American Mathematician edit

Dr. Saaty happened to be born in Mosul, but he was born an American citizen of an American father. All education that relates to his status as a mathematician took place in the U.S., except for a brief period in Paris. I have corrected the article to reflect this. Dr. Saaty's son Daniel started a company called Decision Lens that was based in Falls Church, VA (circa 2007) and is now in Arlington, VA. The company which is still operating as of 2010 builds and expands upon the AHP process of Thomas Saaty. Please stop inserting false and speculative information about this man's name and ethnicity. Also please stop inserting the "Iraqi" stuff. His father was an American citizen since 1896. All his education and career are American. Apparently he was born in Mosul, but to point that out is to mislead readers into thinking he is some sort of an Iraqi guy, or maybe a Muslim. He is and always has been an American citizen and a Christian. The place of his birth is not germane to anything about him, and to include it is to expose him to some unnecessary criticism and possible speculation that he has some sort of Muslim background. Place of birth is not included in other articles about mathematicians, except perhaps if they were born, raised and educated in country X, but made their mathematical contributions in country Y. 74.98.220.196 (talk) 02:13, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
