Vandalism & Link rot edit

This page was the victim of two instances of vandalism a year ago. That should all be gone now, but since it was based on one source and the source no longer works it was effectively an unsourced article. If you come here and find this page then please would you be able to look into finding another source to support the biography and awards attributed to this man. As I understand it does meet Wikipedia notability articles, and was probably problem free when it was made. If you come here and find that somebody else has come along and sabotaged the page again, can you be sure that you revert the page to a state where it is clearly not a victim of vandalism? Some editors (including myself) missed out on vandalism in the page and accidentally left it in place for some time.

Likewise, if you find link rot has affected the page when you come here, please try and find new sources. Otherwise the lack of any substantiation will make it difficult to justify the page's existence. Maswimelleu (talk) 14:49, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Gulf War service edit

Although Haynes served in the Air Force during the Gulf War era, no reliable sources found as of yet state that he served in the war zone during the war. Accordingly, Category:American military personnel of the Gulf War was removed from the article for now until a reliable ref is found. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 11:46, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
