Sockfarm tag edit

When this article was created in May 2014 by Jeremy112233, there may have been issues with sockfarming. However, in April 2015 I expanded the article 25-fold. Just two aspects of Jeremy112233's work remains. The first is a legitimate citation to the White House Historical Association. Although Jeremy112233 mischaracterized the citation, I corrected that. (See endnote A, which begins "The term 'chief usher' had been used by press...", and its two citations.) The second is a statement about the date Stone left the Chief Usher position to become Doorkeeper. The statement is true, and supported by a citation to a neutral, published, reliable source. I only clarified the date.

I have no relationship with Jeremy112233, I am not paid by anyone, and I have no conflict of interest in the subject matter. Moreover, as my editing at the time will attest, I was engaged in improving all the White House Chief Usher articles (including the main article). I would argue that whatever negative bias or influence Jeremy112233 had on this article is either minimal (as well as accurate) as well as long gone. - Tim1965 (talk) 15:50, 2 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
