Thomas Curtis (Lord Mayor) → Thomas Curtis (British politician) – or Thomas Curtis (pewterer) or Thomas Curtis (lord mayor) or Thomas Curtis (mayor) or Thomas Curtis (alderman). "London" is more specific than "British". My understanding is that more general disambiguation terms are ordinarily preferred (e.g., per WP:NCPDAB, although it doesn't specifically discuss whether identifying a country is preferred over identifying a specific city). —BarrelProof (talk) 19:18, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
