I reqeust that this page shouldn't be deleted yet as I have only just started to compose it. I intend to steadily improve it and eventually give a accurate and simple article on Thomas Barnes Cochrane. It will be yet another excellent article on Wikipedia.

DAFMM.

Hi. I've tagged the article as "inuse", since you are actively constructing it. I've also altered your reference to a "see also," since we cannot use Wikipedia articles as references for one another. Please verify information about this individual with reliable, published sources. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:25, 8 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Deaths of Elizabeth Mary and Esther Rose edit

Two of the 11th Earls' daughters - Elizabeth Mary Harriet and Esther Rose Georgina - are listed in Debrett's as dying on the same day. It could be coincedence, but given that Thomas Barnes seems to have done nathing with life excpt consume the loot gained by his somewhat piratical father, the daughters deaths may be useful to flesh out this entry.

Anyone have any ideas as to how to find out the story (if any) behind the deaths? Anyone have access to the obitaries (if any) for Elizabeth Mary or Esther Rose? — Papafox (talk) 03:39, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Is Marquess do Maranhao Hereditary? edit

All,

After some detail research conducted by both myself and mainly Tonyjeff we have discovered that much evidence points to the title not being hereditary. We therefore ask for your advice on the subject as all the articles related to the Earls of Dundonald (etc.) describe it as being hereditary. What do you all think and what information have you got?

Thanks a lot.

With compliments.
