This TV branding on Wikipedia

Seems to me that if the major networks brand on their local affiliates and here, This TV should also be represented along with their local affiliates. The key to good business is good marketing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RESKONIE (talkcontribs) 14:15, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

A Seperate Page For This TV Affiliated Stations

Unless and until This TV lands other stations it's logical to keep the station roster on the same page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RESKONIE (talkcontribs) 00:26, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

I think there are enough affiliates for there to be a separate page. Powergate92Talk 00:39, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
I agree, separate page. TripEricson (talk) 04:28, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

A number of major markets--Atlanta, Dallas/Ft Worth, Denver, Indianapolis, Louisville, Las Vegas, Minneapolis/St Paul, New York City, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, St Louis--currently are without This affiliates. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RESKONIE (talkcontribs) 14:06, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

On the other hand, it does have more than 60% penetration. They still need an affiliate in New York and some other large markets, yes, but I'm of the opinion that there's enough that it warrants its own page. The affiliate list is starting to make the page a bit long. TripEricson (talk) 16:30, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

A possible resolution to the issue of a seperate page for This TV affiliates comes from my viewing of the Destionations Portion of the Cape Air page and having a drop-down. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RESKONIE (talkcontribs) 13:47, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Exactly when will the This TV website be launched? AdamDeanHall (talk) 00:25, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Wish I could tell you. Last thing I heard is "soon." I know, very helpful. TripEricson (talk) 18:17, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

This TV offers a website which is www.this.tv . The site itself lists its program schedule but would be helpful by also listing their local station affiliates. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RESKONIE (talkcontribs) 14:47, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

A Question about this article

Is anybody out there actively checking announcements of This TV getting new affiliates? If not I'd like to help, but if somebody else is doing it then I'll do some other research. Retro Agnostic (talk) 07:24, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm doing my best to keep up with it. They claimed to have 30 affiliates signed, so I don't know why there are so few... TripEricson (talk) 18:30, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. I'll still try to be on the look out, this network facinates me even though I'm not American. I would of thought this network would be well reported by the news but hardly anyone wants to report one it. Shame, a fairly notable subject with little news reports on it. Retro Agnostic (talk) 19:59, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
I run a website dedicated to US digital TV, so I've been glued to various sources attempting to figure out who the affiliates are. I even talked to an engineer at one of the Weigel stations and he told me there was an affiliate signed for my area, but nothing's shown up on TV yet! Go figure. TripEricson (talk) 20:25, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
I notice that This TV network has had quite a messy launch, nothing seems to be going to plan. Kinda odd, eh? Retro Agnostic (talk) 01:39, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Impressed

Really fine job of keeping this article up to date, Thanks everybody involved. Plus, This TV REALY seems to be growing fast! Looks like everybody will have to keep checking, This TV Network just won't stop growing! Hmm, I'd like to help this article, anything I can do? Retro Agnostic (talk) 02:58, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm keeping really close tabs on it. When I find some new info, I update my own site, then race over here and update this page right after. I'm really not sure what you could do... I did want to comment, though, that I'm not sure using the DMA to list the affiliates is such a wise idea, given the issue that popped up about that a while back. I just don't know what else to use. Maybe I should post it on the TV project discussion. TripEricson (talk) 04:06, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

THIS TV on KDOC

Is anyone able to get THIS TV on KDOC 56.3? All I get is a simulcast of KDOC SD.

KDOC is stupid, they miss the point entirely, broadcasting the same thing on all their channels! On broadcast, This TV is 5.2 in Los Angeles, with a pretty strong signal that is, strangely, stronger than 5.1 which is right next to it and coming from the same local Trib place.--208.127.100.19 (talk) 04:53, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Um, KDOC hasn't had a 56-3 in months. You need to rescan. This TV never materialized on KDOC and KTLA wound up with the contract. TripEricson (talk) 06:16, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

DMA #2

This TV is finally broadcasting in Los Angeles.
