General Info

I am reviewing This Podcast Will Kill You by user Meredithlewis13. Here is my sandbox User:Kvvirginialee/sandbox

Lead

The first few sentences are informative, but they need to come after describing the article's topic. I did not know what the podcast was about and what its' purpose was until the "structure of episodes" paragraph. That was informative, and it made me more intrigued to continue reading. The lead does not tell the reader about the following sections covered in the article. The lead is concise, but the introduction to the podcast is weak.

Content

I like the content. It is neutral. The reader cannot tell if the writer likes the podcast or encourages readers to listen. It is informative and it covers basics. Readers have a general knowledge of the podcast after reading the article, but more information regarding the purpose and content of the podcast would be good. Maybe addressing the audience of who listens to the podcast would be a helpful addition. Who does this podcast reach? Is it for medical students? Is it for health conscious listeners trying to take better care of themselves? Is there humor? I, as a reader, would be interested in these type of things. I like the tone and balance of this article, but I am left with the impression of it being unfinished.

Sources and References

There are a lot of primary sources. I would suggest finding secondary and tertiary sources. There could be many more wikilinks added, though. Any article related to anything medical seems to have a lot of wikilinks in the content. For one example, you could link Epidemiology.

Images and Media

There is not an image provided. That would be hard to provide, though, considering it is a podcast. Maybe if there is a picture of the hosts, that would be helpful. The list of episodes is very impressive. The organization and dates are nice to have.

Overall Impressions

This article is off to a great start! I think you are doing so well. I am interested in the podcast because of the content under "structure of episodes." Rearranging some sentences could be helpful to the reader who does not read past the first header. If i stopped there, I would not have understood what the podcast is really about.

I also apologize for not posting this on your talk page earlier than this. I thought that I had, but I mistakenly posted it elsewhere. Great additions and editing. Kvvirginialee (talk) 20:35, 12 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
