Toon Weisenborn has twice made two additions to the article. One is a statement by Weissenborn's niece regarding her birthplace and birth year, sourced to text in a book of photographs by her. The other is a section on her father's family. Both were removed once. I've now added the ISBN for the photo book and tweaked the formatting; it's an informational note, but since it's published material, it seems valid to me with that source fully cited for the reader's benefit (verifiability), although someone should probably reformat it to match the formatting of the other references in the article, which use a system I find terrifying; perhaps a separate section for informational notes, perhaps the statement in the text?? The section on her ancestry, however, had no sources and I don't see how it's relevant to her; if there's a published source in which a historian talks about her in relation to that family history, that would justify including such material, perhaps more briefly, with that reference. Alternatively, is there enough material published on the family for an article to be written on them? or an article on another language Wikipedia that could be linked here using the interlanguage link template? Otherwise, until someone publishes an article or a book about the topic, I don't think it fits in an encyclopedia article about her. But maybe there is such material, or such an article on, for example, nl.wikipedia. Yngvadottir (talk) 21:21, 8 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Yngvadottir Thank you for your assistance and providing the ISBN number for the book cited. I have formatted the reference and added it as a note to the article as per your suggestion. I concur that without sourcing the family material may be irrelevant, though if the other family members are indeed notable per WP guidelines, we might be able to include links if they are sourced to reliable materials.
