Animated film

edit

If anybody wants to see the animated film themselves (with English subtitles), you can do so here. Technically linking there should not be allowed so I won't put the link on the main article page. However, keeping in mind that the film has not been released on DVD and that the Russian VHS which has it seems to be out of print (and certainly not obtainable to the vast majority of the visitors to this page), I figure that it can't hurt the copyright holders in any way to post the link here. It's really a rather good film, although it only takes the story from Seuss and nothing else. I wonder if a release of it right now is even possible - does anyone know if it was made with the consent of Seuss? Esn 21:16, 19 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Meaning

edit

I am inclined to think that the "meaning" of the story as a parable for immigration issues is a fringe or at least a minority view, and having it as the sole item in the "meaning" section is perhaps a violation of WP:UNDUE. 173.73.44.65 (talk) 01:32, 20 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
