Diane

edit

The single Diane is linked to Diane (song), but this page is for another song called Diane. Is this supposed to be the same song, or is the link incorrect? --Mighty Jay 21:03, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Its the wrong song Granto2004uk 09:48, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Didn't therapy? back Ozzy Osbourne on a Black Sabbath tribute album?

Yes, they covered "Iron Man" with Ozzy on the first Nativity In Black tribute album. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 21:18, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Therapyquestionmarklogo.jpg

edit

Image:Therapyquestionmarklogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

POV

edit

I added the {Refimprove} and {POV} tags. The article is currently littered with unsourced fancruft, such as "However, it was clear that the band's music was changing, evolving from experimental noise trips into something far more accessible." Apart from the obvious POV - what the hell does the sentence actually mean ? This is an encyclopedia - not a masturbatory, celebratory, hedonistic, 'we love you forever' styled fansite. Therapy? have been around for a considerable time, and deserve a more scholary critique. See POV, unsourced and non-verified help pages for a start. Thank you,

I removed "weasel" terms, added lots of references & links. Article should now read more like an encyclopedia.

Requested move

edit
The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Not moved. The majority want to keep the question mark, and the precedent of Airplane! is instructive. The guideline at WP:MOSTM doesn't appear to decide this one way or the other. EdJohnston (talk) 22:59, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Therapy?Therapy (band) – I'm not familiar with this band, so I don't know whether people's voices inflect upwards whenever they say its name. But this would appear to be a MOS:TM case. Compare to Fun (band). --BDD (talk) 17:10, 15 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

"Avoid using special characters that are not pronounced, are included purely for decoration" is the relevant part. --BDD (talk) 15:21, 17 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
So Airplane! should be moved, for example? Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 13:38, 18 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose A question mark is standard punctuation, if the name is intended to be regarded as a question it's a valid part of the title. Peter James (talk) 00:40, 21 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose; Natural disambiguation is much better than inserting our own suffixes in brackets. Plenty of sources use "Therapy?"; which sources use "Therapy (band)"? bobrayner (talk) 14:08, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose MOS:TM doesn't seem to apply as the question mark is an integral part of the band's name, rather than a stylization. Print coverage of the band includes the question mark; for example this from RTÉ ,this or this use the question mark with some going on make a point of adding that it is part of the band's name, for example this from the Deseret News. While not strictly relevant, the felt-tipped marker wielding fan that managed to graffitti the name on every flat surface around where I lived in Dublin in the early 90s (including my front door) *always* included the question mark.FlowerpotmaN·(t) 23:41, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
