Thanks for writing this little article on therapeutic assessment. I've been influenced by Stephen E. Finn's work, and I remember looking to see if there was a Wikipedia article on this topic a couple of years ago. There wasn't then, but happily now there is. (I've added a Further reading section with a couple of citations using citation templates. I would be willing to convert the other references to citation templates as well, if nobody has any objections.)

I'm intrigued by one sentence in the article:

Finn suggests differentiating the capitalized "Therapeutic Assessment" or the abbreviation, "TA" as the paradigm developed by himself and his colleagues and the lowercase "therapeutic assessment" as the more general term which describes a variety of humanistically based assessment models.

I'm very interested in learning more about these other humanistically based assessment models described by the (lowercase) phrase "therapeutic assessment." In the Wikipedia article on time geography that I've been editing, I mentioned the work of Swedish psychiatrist Charlotta Sunnqvist and her colleagues, who have used time-geographic life charting as a form of therapeutic assessment. I suspect that her work is not well known, and I would love to learn more about other therapeutic assessment approaches besides those of Stephen E. Finn and Constance T. Fischer (both of whose work I highly respect). If anyone can point to such models either in the article or here on the talk page, I would greatly appreciate it. Since nobody voiced objections to converting all references to citation templates, I went ahead and did the conversion. I am still interested in learning more about the other humanistically based assessment models alluded to in the article, and it may be important to mention a few such models in the article, if only in a footnote. The cited reference (Finn & Kamphuis 2006) mentions the existence of other such models but does not provide any examples or citations. Biogeographist (talk) 14:08, 26 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
