Duplicated article, Please Delete

The subject of this article is duplicated by the article Louis Théodore Gouvy - his full name. The contents of this article should be combined into the other article (which is generally better, contains a photo, has better sources, and is under his full name). One of them should be deleted, I am not sure which. Naming convention guidelines need to be carefully examined. But no, not deleted- this would be replaced by a redirect to the other article. But they do need to be merged. Schissel | Sound the Note! 20:08, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

The shorter name is normally preferred - if there are no other Theodore Gouvys out there. However I see the longer title is used by the French and German pages. What does Grove use? --Kleinzach (talk) 04:39, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
