Hindi Theatre in modern India

The state of Haryana which came into being in 1966 being part of Punjab before that has no records of theatre except dramas performed at college level during youth festivals organized by its universities. Also the public relation department used to perform plays mainly as part of governmental publicity drive. A few enthusiasts in late 60s took theatre activity out of college and formed theatre groups. The first theatre group of its kind came into being in 1970 in Gurgaon. The founding members among others were like Mahesh Vashistha and Vijaydeepak chhiber who later on graduated from National School of Drama and continue to do theatre in Haryana. In fact Vashistha has the credit to propagate the theatre in Haryana doing self written and other established playwrights plays.

Orphaned references in Theatre of India

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Theatre of India's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "auto3":

  • From Bengal: Sen, Sailendra Nath Ancient Indian History and Civilization. New Age International. ISBN 81-224-1198-3. p. 281
  • From Telugu drama: 20th Century Telugu Luminaries, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, 2005

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:48, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
