Bob Walker

edit

The cover was hand drawn by artist and illustrator Bob Walker in his small bedsit on Hesketh Avenue in Didsbury, Manchester. Bob also produced a graphic novel Hawkwind adventure comic book and various illustrations for the band that were published in 'HAWKFRENZ' underground publications throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. These were available from a white lab coated gentlemen at Hawkwind gigs or by mail order along with other titles supporting the Legalise Cannabis Campaign. Bob used to spend many hours in his under stair cupboard which was decorated like the interior of a space capsule with aluminium foil and cut out images from magazines on the walls and ceiling. He also produced work for the 'Psychic Surgeons' and other underground Manchester bands in the late 1980s.

I've removed the above para from the article as it seems to deal with the artist rather than the album. – Drwhawkfan (talk) 13:04, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Start:
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox
  •  Y A lead section giving an overview of the album
  •  Y A track listing

  •  N At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section)

B:

  •  N All the C class criteria
  •  Y A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  •  Y A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  •  N No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
