Eric Williams

Although the book was written by a person called Eric Williams, it wasn't written by the first Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago! So I removed the link to him. Monk Bretton 20:42, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Peter Butterworth

edit

The story about Peter Butterworth being a vaulter isn’t how I have heard it, and doesn’t actually get mentioned in the IMDb article used as the reference. As I remember it, he was a member of the escape team, but rather than vault (which perhaps he wasn’t ideally suited for) he was one of the people who stood by the horse, ostensibly to hold it in place for the assistance of the vaulter, and in actuality to prevent it tipping and exposing the work underneath, and to watch for any tell-tale signs of activity from below on the surface. This is why the character in the film doing this job is called “Peter”, and increases the absurdity of him not being deemed suitable even to play himself… Jock123 (talk) 09:34, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

In Butterworth's appearance on This is Your Life here: [1] Andrews states the original 'leaping over the horse' information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.30.162.162 (talk) 21:24, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Can we identify any of the locations used in the film, such as the railway station and church? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:27, 6 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
