Opinion in trivia edit

* The Ultimate Enemy is also considered the worst of the Danny Phantom TV movies, usually cited for the facts that Dark Danny's creation was a very specific event that is impossible to replicate once known, even if Danny's family perished, and that Dark Danny is not actually an alternate future Danny, but a merged character of Danny and Vlad('Vlanny' if it would please), and Vlad's 'influence' on the merged character was glossed over. Mr. Lancer's accusation of Danny is also another subject considered sub-par in this episode, when it's noted that Lancer admitted to Jazz that he had no way to prove Danny was cheating or had the answers and admitted he had no reason to believe Danny could have gotten the answers, but he was going to accuse him anyways.

Okay, as several DP fans know, I hate TUE and Dark Danny (in a nutshell, flawed and VERY overrated), but this is opinion. Besides, a majority of it has already been said in trivia, particularly the time travel flaw. That and the weasel words excludes this from Wikipedia's article IMHO. --Brad Rousse 04:47, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Once again, namespace edit

Like I said on your "Mystery Meat" page, it should be seriously reconcidered to give each of these pages an individual namespace the way you have. Perhaps make this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Phantom_2_The_Ultimate_Enemy ? Or a single page with all the entries? As it is this takes up too much space, though I'm not enough of a curmudgeon to ask for you to delete them. --Marinus 12:46, 1 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ghostly wail costume change: not goof? edit

It's possible that when Danny used the Ghostly Wail for the first time, the fact that his costume didn't change wasn't a goof. In the opening song animation, the suit is supposedly some sort of protective suit. Since Danny was in the ghost zone when he reverted to human form, the suit might've not changed as some sort of protection.

Look at all the later episodes which feature partial transformation from use of the ghostly wail; it's just how the power works and it's simply to big to have been an unnoticed goof.

Paradox edit

"There is a time travel logic flaw. Danny turning evil is dependent on his friends and family being killed in the explosion, yet he causes them to be killed. It is illogical for someones evil form to cause the event that caused them to turn evil."

Dark Danny wouldn't have been there the first time round; he has to tie them to the boiler because of normal Dannny's interference, which only happened because Danny knew what was GOING to happen. By the logic of the above quote, anything that happened on the future would have been destroyed as soon as any time travel took place.

But Dark Danny went back in time to kill them. It doesn't mean it is not the original explosion The Trivia "There is a major time travel logic flaw. Danny turning evil is dependent on his friends and family being killed in the explosion, yet he (his future self) causes them to be killed. It would be illogical for someone's evil form to cause the event that caused them to turn evil, although this could be seen as an example of predestination paradox. Further, because Danny had discovered the full story of Dark Danny's origins from talking to Vlad in the future, it is likely he would know not to go to Wisconsin and undergo the procedure of having his ghost half removed. However since the Observants have asked Clockwork to prevent this future it's possible that the original explosion was caused by a different event thus Dark Danny was trying to undo Clockwork's attempts to prevent it." makes no sense at all Dark Danny tied them up to the boiler in the original explosion he was in that time zone only to ame sure nothing happens to change his past.

No, Dark Danny liked being evil. He wastrying to make sure that time's Danny would go to Vlad, then become Dark Danny (the same Dark Danny that went back in the begining of this explanation). Confusing, but it makes sence if you think about it. Tutthoth-Ankhre (talk) 12:14, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

The AfD has been two years ago and the article is as bad as ever. I'd suggest a merge, but there is nothing to merge. A bold redirect would likely be reverted immediately. A new AfD will likely result in a keep because this is a TV film and because the article has not been given a fair chance to demonstrate notabiliy so far (see WP:NOTABILITY). I have therefore added a {{notability}} tag here. If sources exist, you are encouraged to add them over the next few weeks. If none exist, that's bad for the article either way. The notability tag should not be removed unless/until significant secondary sources can be found. – sgeureka tc 20:50, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The tag and this thread neither resulted in a reply nor any kind of improvement. I have therefore redirected this article to the list of episodes. IP-reverts will get reverted on sight, non-IP-reverts will lead to an AfD. – sgeureka tc 22:56, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
