Should this article mention the response in Daily Mail? edit

I created the following sentence to illustrate the wide attention that the book was getting:

The UK's Daily Mail published an article that extensively discussed the book's material on concussions in American football.[1]

But the sentence was rejected by Wikipedia's screening software because it linked to the Daily Mail, a site deprecated as unreliable. Is this sentence, or some variant of it, worth inserting?
