Talk:The Travel Scientists

Another reason for keeping the page as is edit

Thank you for reviewing my very first Wikipedia page. While the suggestion to merge it with Indian Autorickshaw Challenge is logical, another reason why I believe it deserves its own namespace is because of other rallies known throughout Europe that it organizes: for example, The Baltic Run and other well-known events in addition to the Indian Autorickshaw Challenge. This is similar to a page Mongol Rally (unrelated to The Travel Scientists). — Preceding unsigned comment added by WordCowboy (talkcontribs) 10:30, 22 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --WordCowboy (talk) 11:07, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

It is a draft, and my very first article. Please let me know if there's a way I can temporarily remove it from public space until ready.

Thank you.

Contested deletion edit

Draft:Central Asia Rally edit

There's a draft that's been around for a while Draft:Central Asia Rally about one of the Travel Scientists' rallies. This hasn't gathered much more press lately and may not be notable on its own. I had planned to merge the information here, but I see that this page is also destined to be merged. I have added a summary and the references I found about the Central Asia Rally to this article. Combined with what was already here, it may be enough to demonstrate notability. If not, I'm not sure how it would fit in the planned merger, so I am not attempting it.—Anne Delong (talk) 11:40, 23 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Stale merge edit

The 2016 AfD outcome was merge, which has received no support or action since then (21 months ago). It also seems that the company has continued to support new rallies, which means that the case for a merge can reasonably be re-assessed. I therefore oppose the merge on the grounds that the case for independent notability is now clearer. This also means that the other draft article mentioned above could be merged in or linked.
