Teacher's Diary (film) → Teacher's Diary – Unnecessary disambiguation; plain title was previously occupied by different article which was clearly not the primary topic, which I have boldly moved to The Secret Diary of a School Teacher. Incoming links have been fixed. Paul_012 (talk) 07:56, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

- But is the Thai film better known than the Private Eye article? And is the new title correct? In ictu oculi (talk) 08:29, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure the film is better known. A Google search with options set to the UK gives results that are overwhelmingly about the film (not including literal uncapitalised teacher's diaries). Actually, I'm questioning the notability of the Private Eye article, as it doesn't appear to have achieved any lasting significance. The few relevant Google results that I found that aren't Wikipedia mirrors are all articles from 2004, and none of them refer to it as "Teacher's Diary". The BBC uses "The secret diary of a Telford school teacher",[1] while The Mirror reprints it as "Secret Diary of a Teacher".[2] "The Secret Diary of a School Teacher" is the actual title used given on the Private Eye's website.[3] --Paul_012 (talk) 08:48, 19 March 2019 (UTC) 18:04, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

- Support no other article with this title. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 12:26, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nom, also happy with the nom's above assessment of the Private Eye article's title. No other usage of "Teacher's Diary" on Wikipedia, though perhaps a hatnote would be prudent. PC78 (talk) 16:05, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
