I am a student in the School of Library and Information Science at Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis. This article is for a class project. I will be expanding it according to the guidelines outlined in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (novels). Thank you for your patience and collaboration. This is such a great example for others in the class. Thanks for starting so soon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrea Copeland (talkcontribs) 02:41, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

As of 2/11/11, I am reading dozens of articles in order to compile information to significantly add to this article. Thanks for your patience! --Slis524kjs (talk) 13:13, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am still pulling together more research to make further additions.Slis524kjs (talk) 01:39, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Still working on this. I've collected a significant number of critical reviews, so the next thing I plan to add is a section on reception.Slis524kjs (talk) 14:48, 18 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Next, I plan to add a section on style, followed by sections for plot and characters. When I have those sections in, I will expand the lead to reflect article content. Still working. Thanks for your patience. Slis524kjs (talk) 16:48, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
I am waiting for my professor to grade my work on this assignment. I will add a discussion note to this page after I get my grade. Thanks for your patience. My first experience with Wikipedia has been great so far. Thanks! Slis524kjs (talk) 18:23, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yay! My grade is in. I really appreciate how the Wikipedia community gave me time to complete my assignment. Now, that I'm all clear on that, I'm eager for advice from experienced Wikipedians on how to improve it. (Plus, my classmates would be interested in hearing about that, too.) This is my very first experience with Wikipedia. Slis524kjs (talk) 02:55, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I requested an assessment from the WikiProject Novels assessment department. Slis524kjs (talk) 03:19, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Author

Just a note to point out that author Alan Bradley does not have an article, yet, in Wikipedia. Currently, any Alan Bradley internal links go to an article about a fictional character with the same name. Slis524kjs (talk) 18:15, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Good job

I would suggest nominating this at WP:GA nominations, but first I would see if you can explore themes and style more from all the sources you have. You may or may not be able, to depending on how thorough their evaluations of the book are, Sadads (talk) 11:33, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Also, the lead should be at least twice the length it is now per WP:Lead, Sadads (talk) 11:34, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
