Talk:The Sphere (social network)

Latest comment: 12 years ago by Basalisk

Private, "Invite Only" social networks are by their nature not open to impartial, independent review. If they merit a mention, then such data as their names, URLs, rankings, business registrations and domiciles are all that should be displayed as that is all that is open for verification. They might provide fora for organised crime and political conspiracy, although that is speculation. Few of the assertions made in their favour are verifiable from published, reputable sources.truthordare (talk) 12:40, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I agree. I originally CSD'd this when it was created, but it was declined. To me, it's just promotion. None of the facts are verifiable. Basalisk inspect damageberate 02:30, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <The-Sphere is a significant social network. It is often compared with major social networks in the media. Also, it supports significant charity foundations such as Make-A-Wish and often organizes philanthropic events. In addition, many celebrities are part of this social network including American actress Eva Longoria or professional basketball player Tony Parker>. — 193.253.186.136 (talk) 19:12, 22 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Can we see some specific proof of the fact that it is "often" compared with major social networks? 109.149.143.15 (talk) 00:26, 28 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
