Victoria NOT Queen in 1832

edit

Although the hotel was doubtless named after the Queen, contrary to what the introduction of the article implies she was not Queen, but then Princess of Kent and aged only 13 in the year she is stated to have 'opened' the hotel. I am aware that with her mother the Duchess the Kent she went on a series of tours of Britain that included Shropshire and, as is made clear later on in the article, she visited the hotel, so I am rewording the introduction accordingly as a visit not an opening.Cloptonson (talk) 19:42, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Obsolete ?

edit

It seems that the hotel is already lost, but its facade.

Royal Victoria Hotels around the world, including this [defunct] one in Shropshire and one opened 2 years earlier (1828). Mayhap someone could add a Disambiguation Page? Cheers! Shir-El too 18:13, 25 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
