Fair use rationale for Image:La Destra logo.png
editImage:La Destra logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The Right → The Right (Italy) – Because "the right" is usually used to refer to right-wing politics or politicians in general, I think that The Right should redirect to Right-wing politics, just as The right does currently. The party of this name from Italy could be disambiguated in the usual way. Good Ol’factory (talk) 04:22, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
- Rename per nom, though, "the right" is also used to indicate particular rights -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 04:49, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
- Support, astonishing. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:24, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
- Support move to The Right (Italy) rather than any article renames.--Autospark (talk) 09:19, 27 August 2014 (UTC)

- Support. I noticed this edit and was about to propose the very same move. older ≠ wiser 23:04, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
- Support I doubt that the average reader would be looking for this particular political party if they typed The Right.--69.157.252.247 (talk) 01:45, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- Strong support per nom and 69.157.252.247. --Checco (talk) 11:22, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- Support, in effect there is also a german party called "The Right" (Die Rechte)--Maremmano (talk) 20:48, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- Comment My adding a hatnote at right-wing politics for the redirect the right keeps getting deleted. -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 05:49, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

- Comment The WP:COMMONNAME/WP:OFFICIALNAME of the party is "La Destra".
- See: http://www.ladestra.com/ and Google search: site:www.ladestra.com "the right".

- add: none of the articles citations mention "The Right", only "copyright" and "rights reserved". Gregkaye (talk) 08:13, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- We need to finish this "requested move" first. By the way, I strongly oppose Gregkaye's proposal, which is totally inconsistent with most articles about political parties, which usually adopt English names—and, in this case, the translation is not controversial at all. --Checco (talk) 08:08, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- Fair comment ty, although I think totally inconsistent greatly misrepresents the actual situation - see: Category:Political parties in Italy. For instance: all the "North League" parties are titled "Liga Nord ..." Gregkaye (talk) 08:15, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- Forza Italia, Lega Nord and parties including forza or lega/liga in their name are the few exceptions. --Checco (talk) 10:40, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

- Comment what would you do with "The Right"? and the right? Add a hatnote to handle the right is currently being disputed at talk:right-wing politics (where the redirect "the right" leads) -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 10:43, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- Answer to Gregkaye: if a translation isn't controversial, I prefer it. Forza Italia can't be literally translated, therefore the original name is the best. Instead I don't really understand why Lega Nord & company retain the italian name, even their names should be translated! --Maremmano (talk) 19:26, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Maremmano: TY. I have added Wikipedia:Naming conventions (political parties) to see also @ WP:COMMONNAME and to bullets @ WP:OFFICIALNAME. These main texts gave no indication of such conventions and all this was new to me. Gregkaye (talk) 00:22, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- See Right-wing politics#History which stated that "The Right has gone through five distinct historical stages..." long before this discussion arose. I would redirect "The Right" to that article, or to Right (disambiguation). bd2412 T 03:15, 2 September 2014 (UTC)

I agree on the new title (The Right (Italy)), but I disagree on the redirect to Right-wing politics because there is also an article ("The" Right), for me it should be a disambiguation page (there is also a german party with this name, also if its page isn't present in en.wiki) --Maremmano (talk) 23:08, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- I think I agree with Maremmano. Most redirects need to be redirected here. --Checco (talk) 17:27, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
