There is a claim by Johnny Brogna in the comments section of this clip that Jolie Newman died some time ago. Is there any confirmation of this sad news? Minirof (talk) 10:46, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

• • 'Fraid so: reported in the New York Times in April 2002 that she'd died suddenly on 31st March 2002. She was then a producer, post-production supervisor and a graphic designer.

John J Brogna - Dead or Alive?

I'm unsure about the John J Brogna (Johnny Brogna) obituary.

I see the original obituary at http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/bostonglobe/obituary.aspx?n=john-j-brogna&pid=124333361#fbLoggedOut where it states he stared (sic) [Starred] in several movies/tv work but states he worked on stage and screen for over 40 years (but according to his birth date on IMDB would have only been 40 when he died (did he really act before he was 1?). I believe the approximate age on IMDB as he looked 8 or younger in the Red Hand Gang and that was 1977.

The forum quoted see http://archive.is/D4FO seems to take the obituary and make the link to the Red Hand Gang and "American Pop".

I have found a death record for a John J Brogna for that exact date of death quoted http://www.death-record.com/l/93239136/John-J-Brogna but this says he was 71. Interestingly this guys date of birth is exactly the same day and month as quoted on imdb as Brogna's dob but says 1939 not 1969.

So anyone know more? Just think lots of pages might be getting updated from one initial incorrect assumption and being used to justify each other?

I am John's cousin.. He is not dead. He is very much alive and well in Spokane Washington. He is on Facebook. His Father John Brogna passed away at that time, and yes he was 71 yrs old. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.142.166.21 (talk) 14:09, 7 September 2014 (UTC)
