Namedropping, puffery and fancruft

edit

There is a WP:SPA editor, Purpleturnip123 (talk · contribs) that appears to have a WP:COI or other obsession with these two folks and is hell-bent on inserting all kinds of puffery, name-dropping and fancruft. I spent time cleaning the article up yesterday only to find the spa had restored almost all of the puffery and name-drops. This editor also thinks this article is the top priority for both biographies and musician articles as evidenced by this ridiculous edit. Toddst1 (talk) 00:42, 22 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Reflection on the "the article may rely excessively on source too closely associated with the subject"

edit

On which sources is an article most based? I would say the most used sources so let is say more than 2 times. On that version, the most used sources (used more than 2 times) on the article are from Medium, American Songwriter, The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles, Food & Wine, BroadwayWorld. Could someone explain to me how this sources are "too closely associated with the subject"? --Crazy runner (talk) 03:44, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
