Table and future work edit

I've made this into a table. Ideally the 'Recording' field needs dividing into 'recording date', 'recording company', 'catalogue number', and 'notes' fields. Obviously we need more information in order to do this. Afterwards the whole table can be made sortable, i.e. re-orderable by date, conductor, company or whatever. For an example of how this works, see List of operas by Handel. --Kleinzach 07:10, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

How about including piano performances edit

How about including piano performances, such as the one at the following address:

Yes indeed, why not? --Kleinzach 08:32, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Original-v-arrangements edit

Is there any merit in splitting the table into two, giving a list of recordings of the familiar orchestral suite and then a separate table showing arrangements (or, as Koussevitzky said, "changements")? I suppose GH's own two-pianist prototype would have to go in the latter, though. Hmmm. Thoughts most welcome. Tim riley (talk) 15:30, 26 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Boult version edit

The Boult version with the Philharmonic Promenade cannot be recorded in 1954. Because it released by Nixa Records under reference NLP 903. And we know the last records Nixa are released in 1953, after they was Pye or Pye Nixa. For this reason, I think this recording cannot be made after 1953, except (well sure) if they exists several recordings with Boult conducting the Philharmonic Promenade. Nicolas ANCEAU
