• @Rokkgod: The only problem is that the links given don't really show notability for the band. They show that it exists, but not any notability, as they are all either WP:PRIMARY sources that were created by the band/representative or they're just routine database listings, which also cannot show notability because it's expected that most bands will be listed in a routine discography database. As far as the book goes, it appears to be a non-notable, self-published work and wouldn't really be something that would be the exception to WP:SPS. However that said, I don't see where the page is currently up for speedy deletion... although I suppose I probably should nominate it for AfD due to the overall lack of sources that would be considered WP:RS. I would rather avoid this if it can be helped, so I propose a compromise: I'll move it to the draftspace where you can work on finding coverage in reliable sources. Something to look for would be coverage in zines, as sometimes those can be used as a reliable source but haven't been uploaded to the Internet- something that can be common for some punk, underground, and indie-type bands. I'd highly recommend asking for help from Wikipedia:WikiProject Rock music as they can possibly help point you in the right direction for sources. Tokyogirl79 (｡◕‿◕｡) 05:20, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

The discography used for the band "The Piss Shivers" was previously compiled by myself and used on the bands official myspace page. It is not a copyright violation.

The band is of musical significance for their longevity and musical output. Other artists associated with The Piss Shivers mentioned in the article are F.O.D. and McRad (Chuck Treece) who already listed on Wikipedia. As a reference, The Piss Shivers are documented in the book "Anecdote, Stories From The Road" Compiled and edited by Rachael Almada (published by Bodach Press) and MaximumrockNRoll Magazine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sharkjumper99 (talk • contribs) 03:12, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
