I'm reluctantly changing the year of release to 1965 from 1964. The article opened at the Berlin Film Festival in 1964. However, it did not go into general release anywhere in the world until its U.S. release in April 1965[1]. Even though it is listed in IMDB as a 1964 film, it was considered a 1965 film for Academy Award purposes. Furthermore, the general subject was discussed at the talk page of Wikiproject Films, and it seems that the general practice on Wikipedia is to date films from general release, not film festival release.
