Objective? edit

"The eddhow returned, having been revamped as it needed to be, on 9 July 2007" - editorial comment? Appropriate for this article? Kateab (talk) 18:26, 9 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should be changed, a simple reference to a revamp would be enough. Iamthedoctor2009 (talk)

Better still: "The show was revamped, not axed - as it needed to be"?

Live? edit

Is the programme live? A comment in the interview with David Frost tonight suggested it could have been recorded the previous day. The article does not say whether live or not. --jmb (talk) 18:35, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It musy be live, they often ask people to email in pictures and show them before the end of the show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dd4005 (talkcontribs) 15:53, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Former presenters has a gap edit

In the 3.2 former presenters section, there appears to be an entire year where there was no female co-presenter. I don't think that's right. So maybe some of those dates for the 3 female presenters are wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dd4005 (talkcontribs) 15:55, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

The date are all correct, the pilot ran until September 2006, with Sawalha. The show was then off air until July the following year, when Klass joined the show.--Iamthedoctor2009 (talk) 12:46, 5 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Guest Page? edit

Should there be a guest page, or are there too many guests for the general public to remember? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.7.229 (talk) 09:01, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Too many - over a thousand ? If you then attempt to reduce that by being selective, you're introducing bias. -- John (Daytona2 · Talk · Contribs) 09:34, 17 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Introduction edit

"It runs every week of the year starting at 7pm, excluding a two-week break for Christmas and a four-week break in a FIFA World Cup or UEFA European Championship year, such as for the 2010 World Cup and 2012 European Championships or the London 2012 Olympic Games"

This isn't true: The One Show is in the middle of a three-week break, which isn't covered by the exceptions listed. The sentence is also very wordy. How about:

"The programme runs all year round in its 7pm weekday slot, apart from a short summer break and another at Christmas". Neil W (talk) 21:11, 30 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Laundrettes edit

Hi, I’ve, been watching your programme regarding laundrettes. I have a laundrette in Haworth, which is doing quite well under the circumstances, and the current price rises, I have my regulars, and plenty of holiday lets, and I’m grateful for all my customers old and new, if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be able to provide a service. Loving the laundrette with a bar and music, I wish them well. Regards Eileen Barnes Peggy tubs 51.7.130.84 (talk) 18:20, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

A Lad and his Dad

Despite all the skilled presenters that have worked hard to get on in television, Roman Kemp just walks onto the show. Then again, having a well known dad certainly seems to help. While a fairly minor issue, could this matter be highlighted within the article?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.147.153.121 (talk) 19:33, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
