I propose deleting the /* Continuity */ and /* Cultural references */ sections as being original research. --Bejnar (talk) 01:17, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Mark items as citation needed. Give at least a few days for people to try and come up with sources. If sources are not provided then you can delete the individual items. Finding sources takes time and effort, so the very least any good faith editor can do is show enough respect to makre any reasonable points as needing a citation. The really good editors, the ones who once made wikipedia popular, are the ones who will go out and help find sources, for items they didn't even add themselves, improving the work of others.
Having said that I was very skeptical of some of the times too, particularly:
Ted's toast at the end to Mitch, The Naked Man, is very similar to that of Commissioner Gordon's statement of Batman at the end of The Dark Knight.
but after reading the critical response from IGN which mentions superheroes quite a bit, the claim might be more than coincidental and with a proper quote from the batman script it might be possible to show that item is actually true if someone wants to look into it. I'll do my best to find sources for some of the other less dubious items. -- Horkana (talk) 18:48, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not sure yet how best to fit this into the article other than as a promotional tie-in released by the show, but the review of the episode at TV Squad includes a MacLarens napkin with Lily's list of 50 reasons to have sex. -- Horkana (talk) 19:35, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
The list of 50 reasons was originally posted on the CBS website but the 50 reasons have been mirrored in various other places. -- Horkana (talk) 16:53, 3 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Slate mentions the naked man in their review of Rabbit or Duck noting that it is "Awesome" that The Naked Man has a page in Wikipedia. Other reviews of Rabbit or Duck also mention the term The Naked Man showing the idea has stuck with reviewers, again suggesting this episode might be more notable than others. -- Horkana (talk) 22:43, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Change [[Category:How I Met Your Mother episodes]] to [[Category:How I Met Your Mother (season 4) episodes]] and add {{DEFAULTSORT:Naked Man (How I Met Your Mother)}} Aspects (talk) 01:29, 12 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Please change redirect target from [[List of How I Met Your Mother episodes#Season 4 (2008–09)]] to [[How_I_Met_Your_Mother_(season_4)#ep73]] Looks like this used to be a Wikipedia page for that episode (surprised it isn't notable, given how well known it is - but that's a pot I don't want to stir). Add {{R fully protected}} to the redirect so the protection is a little more clear (and so its categorised) Aidan9382(talk) 06:34, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
