Plot summary

I've trimmed the overlong plot summary down to a bare synopsis. Please feel free to augment sparingly with significant plot detail. --Tony 01:19, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Re-wrote the plot, you made it far too vague. - Rory.

There is one aspect of the plot that is presented incorrectly. Bombay did not try to steal Banks from the Hawks. His team didn't trust him because he was formerly a Hawk. In seeking his advice, Hans explained to Gordon that the district lines were redrawn and that Gordon would've been a Duck with the current lines. He then protested Banks' eligibility to play for the Hawks since Banks also lived in District 5 (the Ducks' district). Banks came to play for the Ducks because he wanted to keep playing. He surely would have been cut by the Hawks' coach since the coach was all about winning championships and the Hawks would have to forfeit any game that Banks played in if the protest was upheld. Bombay was fired from his job for refusing to withdraw his protest after the league, his boss, the Hawks coach, and Banks' dad arranged for Banks to keep playing for the Hawks (and to redraw the district lines to put Banks back in the Hawks' district) provided Gordon withdraw the protest, citing that his boss made him coach to "learn fairplay" and that this was unfair to the Ducks. This created a rift between the Hawks coach and Bombay, and ultimately exposed to Gordon what his former coach was really all about when the coach orders two of his players to take out Banks in the final game. - Eric
