I'm hoping to find more detailed information on it, since I think it's a fascinating bit of history. If I can't, then I agree it may as well be absorbed back into the Bryce article, but I'd like to try first. Kitanzi
The pages online from the Meteor do not form a complete record and are hard to read so I could not check if the report about Rugby football did appear in this Meteor but the Wikipedia article "William Webb Ellis" has the same story but its "The Meteor" is
the Rugby School magazine.
