Photos edit

Photos of Jackie Chan in Dublin, that might be of interest. [1]

I've been trying to match photos of Dublin Castle to scenes from the film. The different angles and added crowds and fake café customers make it difficult to match things up. Best I've been able to find so far is a picture of the Rates Office, 16 Castle Street beside Dublin Castle, which in the film is "The Dublin Hotel". Another photo of Castle street worth considering, that's City Hall on the Left, Dubling Caste Gate centre, and the Rates Office on the left. A cropped version of either image might be worth including in the Production section, being representative of the Dublin location where the film was shot. -- 109.79.69.130 (talk) 13:28, 8 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

US$ or HK$? edit

Are the budget and box office receipts given in US$ or HK$? It's hard to imagine this film cost over US$30mil to make. 2A00:23C5:C102:9E00:F400:60AD:FBE0:D1E0 (talk) 16:54, 29 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Variety says $35 million[2] and apparently the studio was bragging about the high budget. That was before filming began. The Numbers put the cost at $41 million[3] and although it is not entirely clear where they got their figures from the original cost probably went up between when Variety reported it and when the negatives were in the can. It is always a good idea to be skeptical about the figures claimed by filmmakers but the numbers we have seem to credible and about the right range. -- 109.78.194.120 (talk) 16:29, 3 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
