Hey hey hey. There are at least two other Marbles I can think of. The CBGB one and the E6 one. Don't know enough about either to do anything about it though.
Well, E6 stands for Elephant 6. The project was simply called Marbles and was by Robert Schneider.

An earlier Marbles band; edit
In 1964-65 the Berkeley rock band, The Marbles played the usual gigs at beer halls, gyms and parks. Pete Shapiro started the group with him on lead guitar, myself (Steve Dowler) on rhythm, David Dugdale on bass and Ray Greenleaf on drums. Pete came from Boston and he and I eventually joined the Loading Zone, an R&B band in the Bay Area. David was from England and Ray was a local guy at Cal in Poly Sci at the time. We covered all the Beatles tunes that we could get one of us to sing. We also did Ray Charles tunes and of course, the ever popular Louie, Louie by the Kingsmen. The Rathskeller on Telegraph was a regular, and once in awhile the Bear's Lair on campus but mostly we played a beer joint on Grove Street (now MLK) near Alcatraz where the peanut shells on the floor soaked up the beer, ralph and other stuff quite well. I think Ray is still in the Bay Area, Pete is still making music in Arkansas I think, I'm retired in California and I have no idea where David is. I'd really like to hear about these other Marbles, especially the punk rock guys ... or was that just us after a long night of loud music?
