Local traditions edit

What this article neglects to mention is Friedman's emphasis on the importance of maintaining a country's local traditions along with globalization, a process he describes as 'glocalization'. He at heart is anything but the apologist for imperialism that he's often described as.Alloco1

To much emphasis on a small part of the book edit

The Golden Arches theory is the bulk of this article. The book is about a lot more than that. --rogerd 17:09, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Focus on the book itself? edit

Yeah... I agree. Arches, smarches, i want to hear about the book itself. which struggle prevails? how does he characterize each one? etc? Lequis (talk) 03:16, 19 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Written like an advertisement edit

Phrases like "Friedman leads the reader on an international quest for a new understanding" and "Friedman... [introduces] colorful new terms" is unacceptable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Spartan2600 (talkcontribs) 07:49, 10 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Thank you for pointing that out. I have changed the wording. --Harizotoh9 (talk) 23:27, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Removing external links edit

All of these external links are currently dead; If anyone is able to recover the original text, let me suggest that they incorporate them back into the article as citations.
