Did any of this happen?

edit

I would love to see a section on the historical accuracy of this film. The Yip Man page suggests that maybe the interaction with Leung Bik is accurate but I suspect the entire Tin Chi/Japan storyline is fictional. I would love to author that but, alas, I have no clue. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.231.214.20 (talk) 20:05, 10 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Most of these movies are openly dramatized. They're about the legend of Ip Man, as much or more than they are about his actual life. 50.243.223.35 (talk) 17:58, 1 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Continuity with Ip Man, Ip Man 2, Ip Man 3?

I realize that these are separate movies made by separate filmmakers, but I'm wondering how consistent they are with one another. That is, could I watch this film and then the trilogy and it feel like it was a prequel? 50.243.223.35 (talk) 17:58, 1 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
