Checklist and analysis

GA review (see here for criteria)

1. It is reasonably well written.

   Surprisingly, there was little in the way of grammar and spelling issues compared to other GANs I've reviewed. However, I did come across some awkward sounding sentences and reworded them appropriately.

2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.

   As far as I can tell, the sources look good, and there is no original research, except for this: "Kenney left the band shortly after Flying Under the Radar, and Doug took over on bass guitar." You'll need to cite a source for that statement.

3. It is broad in its coverage.

   The lead should include a sentence or two about the band's musical style, basically a short summary of what's in the relevant section of the article. Also, the first sentence should mention the Grammy win, so as to assert the band's notability right in the beginning.

4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.

   Fair representation without bias:

   I know this isn't an immensely popular band, but did its music or members receive any notable criticism?

5. It is stable.

   No edit wars etc.:

6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.

Other comments

• As for the fact that Kenney has left, the only source I found to verify it was a link on Associated Content, which is a blacklisted site. I think the fact that the band's website acknowledges Doug as bass guitarist is the best we can do now. The best critical receptions I could find were album reviews from various sites (Entertainment Weekly, Allmusic, Country Standard Time, Billboard). Allmusic says that they had a "legacy" but doesn't specify on that point. Also, I was told not to use "X-award winning" in lead sentences.   • I found a source stating that Kenney left, but it doesn't give an exact date, only saying "recently" in a story published in August 2008. You might want to add that and reword the sentence to fit around it. Also, who told you not to use such a phrase in lead sentences? According to WP:LEAD, the first sentence is supposed to establish the subject's notability, and stating the fact that the band won a Grammy award does just that. Timmeh 19:05, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
