Stage on risers?

edit

I just watched a DVD of highlights of the series. It appeared that the stage that was used by the show was higher and larger than the stage used for other performances at the Ryman. It appeared to be about 5 feet lower than the balcony and had a width that made it come right up to the balcony. Anyone have any other info on this? --rogerd (talk) 06:49, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was Disambiguate via redirect and hatnote per discussion below. The page The Johnny Cash Show now redirects to The Johnny Cash Show (TV series), and there is a hatnote pointing to The Johnny Cash Show (album). GTBacchus(talk) 22:04, 2 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Johnny Cash Show (TV series)The Johnny Cash Show

There would still be a distinction between the album and the tv show, with a dablink at the top of the tv show article. As I have stated elsewhere, the album was only made because of the success of the tv show, and it was given that title because of it, not the other way around. MOS:DAB says that two article dab pages should be avoided. So why is this a special case in which one should remain? ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 14:26, 24 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I am actually advocating that the dab page be eliminated and redirected to The Johnny Cash Show (TV series) (as it recieves the most hits) with a hatnote to The Johnny Cash Show (album) on the The Johnny Cash Show (TV series) page. The dab page stats[1], in comparion to those of the album[2] and show[3], make it clear that this should not cause an a problem with users easily finding the proper content. I still see value in having (TV series) and (album) attached to the names of each respective artice and I suspect I will hold to this opinion. --Labattblueboy (talk) 16:39, 24 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ah, thank you for clearing that up! I misunderstood what you said originally, as is apparent from my response. I have no objection to that. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 17:16, 24 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Johnny Cash Show (TV series)The Johnny Cash ShowThe Johnny Cash Show (TV series) should redirect to The Johnny Cash Show, rather than the opposite. This move was first proposed over 13 years ago, in November 2009, under Talk:The Johnny Cash Show (TV series)#Move? above, but the nominator and the three participants did not arrive at a consensus whether there should be The Johnny Cash Show disambiguation page listing two entries — The Johnny Cash Show (TV series) and The Johnny Cash Show (album) — or whether the TV series is WP:PRIMARYTOPIC over the album. A hatnote atop each entry already directs users to the other entry. — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 22:46, 5 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
