Survey - in opposition to the move

1. Weak Oppose: there seem to be limited sources that this obscure party ever existed, so its name in English is uncertain. But it is at least as likely that anyone searching for The Socialists is in fact looking for Socialism. Absent proof that The is invariably used for these people in English, Wikipedia convention would be to call this article Socialists (Italy); but it might be just as well to have that redirect to Italian Socialist Party.    No, it should be called "The Socialists" with the article, as it's a defining part of the name. (Compare the various green parties around, for instance, and many other party articles.) I would agree with your other point, though. —Nightstallion (?) 23:32, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

   Ok, I notice that both Coelacan and DGG didn't mind to read what was the problem, so their comments have little meaning. Here we have a page named The Socialists (Italy), while The Socialists is a redirect to The Socialists (Italy). As it is a redirect to our page, why not changing the title of the page to The Socialists (this would be the correct title and now it is only a redirect, not to Socialism but to The Socialists (Italy)? Please, read before writing. --Checco 09:46, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

   Oh, I read your issue, all right. I just don't agree with you. Don't make snarky assumptions about what others have and haven't read. If you're going to use the argument that "The Socialists already redirects here", then I'll just go ahead and fix that.
