pub ownership

It's common knowledge in Calgary Alberta the the Irish Rovers Owned the pub known as The Unicorn which is in operation to this day. I've rewritten most of the article as a news story, and will continue to add citations for verification. There are several contributors to this page who hopefully have seen the massive tag on top. The Rovers

Although it's acknowledged in the infobox, this article is missing major information regarding the band's very well publicized (and at the time controversial) change of image in the 1980s when they changed their name to The Rovers and released Wasn't That a Party. For most of the 80s they focused on country rock recordings before reverting back to the Irish Rovers by the end of the decade. "Donald Where's Your Troosers?"

Any info on what dates this song charted in Canada? I cannot find it anywhere. Nothing for 'Rovers' on any chart - pop/ac/country.... [1] Thanks. AMCKen (talk) 20:37, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

I searched a bit, I could only find Irish charts on the Internet, where I found only The Unicorn 1968 by the Irish Rovers, I found there Donald Where's Your Troosers only by Andy Stewart. In 1986 this compilation was released (in Australia), which included the recording from The First of the Irish Rovers (1966). (I also know two later recordings of the song by the Irish Rovers, first released on the Albums Irish Rovers' Gems (1996) and Up Among The Heather - The Scottish Album (2019)) --Universal-Interessierter^de (talk (de)) 19:06, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
