Talk:The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town

Category edit

I was going to put this in the Category:John Grisham novels but this isn't appropriate for there since its a non-fiction work, so I'm not sure where to categorize it. Metros232 15:42, 8 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Excessive Sources edit

Is it really necessary to have a source to prove that the book is non-fiction (See first line in article)?? I have removed the link. Here it is. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1543958,00.html FruitMart07 03:26, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Ronwilliamson.JPG edit

The image Image:Ronwilliamson.JPG is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

The Oakland A's are a minor league team? edit

The first sentence of the "Plot" section says: "The story begins with Ron Williamson, who has returned to his hometown after failed attempts at playing for various minor league baseball teams, including the Oakland A's and the Ft. Lauderdale Yankees." However, the page for the A's says they're a major league team. I would suggest changing it to say something like the following: "The story begins with Ron Williamson, who has returned to his hometown after failed attempts at playing for various baseball teams, including the major league Oakland A's and the minor league Ft. Lauderdale Yankees." Or perhaps: "...playing for various minor and major league baseball teams, including the Oakland A's and the Ft. Lauderdale Yankees." Anyone else have an opinion on this?Woodnwheel (talk) 00:09, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

More fully crediting the Grisham/Mayer relationship edit

The article currently has (About two decades before Grisham's book, Ward and Fontenot's wrongful convictions were detailed in a book published in 1987 called The Dreams of Ada by Robert Mayer. In addition to needing the missing clothing parenthesis, this mention should be expanded to reflect that Grisham used that book in making his own (the New York Times says "Grisham draws heavily on that book and acknowledges a debt. A new edition of "The Dreams of Ada" will be published this month with a helpful Grisham blurb on its cover.") I would make this change myself, but I have an arguable WP:COI, as the publisher of some of Mayer's fiction works. --Nat Gertler (talk) 17:16, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
